2) Student Survey Results:

In early December we thought it was important to ask for feedback from our Global student athletes.  We received 130 responses within our 2 School Divisions and 3 Partner Schools.  It was terrific to watch everyone take their time and give their honest feedback.  What we learned is what we already knew, that our partner schools and staff do an amazing job creating a supportive and fun environment.  Here are some highlights:

- Student athletes gave us an average mark of 87% on how much fun they're having in the program
- Student athletes gave us an average mark of 90% on how much they feel supported by our Global Coaches
- 99% of student athletes would refer Global to a friend

1) What is your favourite part of Global?

My favourite part of Global is getting the chance to teach my passion. After retiring from playing, I always wanted to stay in the game.

2) What do you enjoy most about working with Global student athletes at EOJHS?

I enjoy watching Global students develop both their on-ice skills, as well as their life skills. To be able to watch the development of young athletes in the above areas is a great experience for me.

3) How have Global student athletes at EOJHS benefited from the program?

All athletes have benefited from the program at EOJHS in some way, shape or form. That is the beauty of the program as it focuses on the individual student athlete. I have seen many develop their on ice skills, some have become a better academic students because of the program, some have developed better social skills, and many have become better citizens.
