STIX Female Elite Sr (2002-2004)

STIX Female Sr. Program is designed to continue the growth and development of passionate female players who aspire to move into USports or NCAA hockey! Ice Sessions incorporate competitive games, team competitions and position specific development in a multi-station environment with strong coaching and leadership by Mark Maloney and his team. The team will participate in a five game exhibition game against STIX Female University who are all committed and current NCAA/USports players. There is an off-ice training component with sessions occurring in the Global Multi-Sport Training Centre in Springbank under the direction of Peak Power Development and multi-sport/training sessions. The program culminates with the STIX Female Collegiate Exposure Showcase Tournament at the end of June which will have 10-12 NCAA and USports coaches fully running a showcase tournament with skills sessions and games.

This program is for 2002-2004 age group.

Location: Flames Community Arena, Crowchild and City Arenas

Dates: Early April to mid June 2020

Fees: $2,000.00 plus GST

  • 20 Individual skill development ice times
  • 5 Game Rivalry Series against Female University
  • STIX Cup Internal Competition
  • STIX Collegiate Exposure Camp  - June ($485.00 + GST for an individual)
    • 4 day tournament run by College and University Coaches that is focused on exposing and educating families on post-secondary hockey options
  • 5 Multi-sport sessions
  • 5 Off ice skill sessions with Peak Power
  • Off-ice skill development program for the summer
  • Entrance and exit family meetings with the Coach
  • Goal setting and follow up during the summer leading up to tryouts/evaluations
  • Family advising on the hockey journey which includes phone calls, emails and/or texts on hockey/academic decisions
  • Goalie specific coach
  • Team Wind-up
