Description: The STIX Jr. Program is the marquee spring program in the city for ELITE AA/AAA players whose primary focus is to challenge for a Jr A roster spot next season.  It is comprised of leaders in U18 hockey around the city pushing each other through intense and unique individual and position specific skill practices led by first rate coaches. These sessions include individual skill development, competitive small area games and outside the box training that will prepare them for the Junior hockey experience. There are also intersquad weekend games that are scouted by teams from many Canadian Junior leagues. This program culminates in our STIX Collegiate Exposure Tournament, which has become one of the most highly attended exposure tournaments in the province for NCAA, USports and Junior teams. This program also educates the players on academic readiness, the road ahead in junior hockey and offers advisory assistance on all hockey and academic questions throughout the players years ahead.

Dates: Mid April to mid June 2021

Fee: $2,200.00 plus GST

  • 4 day tournament run by College and University Coaches that is focused on exposing and educating families on post-secondary hockey options
• 2 Classroom sessions (Junior Hockey/Academics & SAT's)
• Off ice skill development program for the summer
• Entrance and exit family meetings with the Coach
• Goal setting and follow-up during the summer leading up to tryouts/evaluations
• Family advising on the hockey journey which includes phone calls, emails and/or texts on hockey/academic decisions
• World Pro for goalies
